Activated alumina is tasteless, insoluble in water, and can be used as a desiccant, but has a short shelf life. We can take some measures to prolong the shelf life.


1、Control the concentration of K2CO3 solution in the drying tower. When caustic soda is prepared or steamed, control the concentration of caustic soda.


2、Strictly control the feeding material. People should ask for long-term immersion in water and working solution without softening and chalking, which is a prerequisite for its normal function.


3, the use of activated alumina high strength, not easy to break the characteristics of the product we will be used in the sun exposure, so that the water stored in it evaporates, crystallization and then continue to use.


4, control the temperature: the temperature should be controlled at 40-55 ℃, and we need to preheat the working fluid in advance during the working fluid circulation.


5、People can use sodium hydroxide solution or aluminum sulfate solution to clean the activated alumina, so that the desiccant can be regenerated to some extent, restore the adsorption performance and extend the shelf life.


6、People should strictly control many factors that affect the chemical reaction of the hydroxide process to minimize the generation of degradation substances, reduce the burden of regeneration of the clay layer and extend the shelf life.
