Molecular sieves are naturally occurring or synthetically made adsorbents called zeolites. They are widely used for the separation of stationary or permanent gases. The four main types of molecular sieves are 13X, 3A, 4A, and 5A. The types vary depending on the chemical formula of the molecule, and each type has a different pore size. The 13X molecular sieve has a larger pore size than any Type A molecular sieve. 13X molecular sieves are used in the following applications.

Helping to remove moisture and carbon dioxide from air
